You don’t need fixing.
When you labor to “fix” yourself, you may begin feeling even more empty and broken than when you began. It’s easy to fall into a perpetual cycle of self-criticism, judgement, and listlessness, exacerbated by endless attempts to tame or stop the impulses that drive it. A new approach can help break the cycle of pain; an approach that honors the pieces that you’ve tried so hard to fix. When each part of the self is given space to be heard and understood, rather than being diminished or avoided, tension eases, a greater sense of clarity emerges, a path forward reveals itself… Through this process, self-trust grows as conflicting needs become a cohesive whole, instead of continuing to tear you apart. You begin to see your inner world as a thriving ecosystem, not a war zone. In this system, synthesis and peace are possible.
Regulate to Integrate.
Each person arrives at therapy from a different place—some feeling stuck in old patterns, others seeking clarity during transitions, and many looking to reconnect with a greater sense of self. The therapeutic process helps identify where things feel unbalanced, what is needed for growth, and how to move forward with confidence, while considering your unique starting place. Support is available to bring clarity and direction, assess how to move the stuck parts, and create space for meaningful change. If you could simply “think” your way to feeling better, you would feel better by now. Instead, we will begin from a “bottom-up” approach, exploring internal safety and somatic experience, shifting and caring for your inner world in order to create success in your outer world.
